Bring your dog or borrow one of ours!

If you don’t have a dog, have left your pooch at home, or would just like one to borrow to accompany you on a stroll just ask Tony at reception to arrange for some canine company after breakfast. Annie, Hughie and Sophie all know the estate like the backs of their hands and can show you their favourite spots (including rabbit dens).

Annie is very friendly but please do ignore her pleas for cake or biscuits – she is fed regularly, but likes to pretend she is starving!

we welcome dogs in three of our rooms

BEING A DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL IN DEVON MEANS ADDING WELCOMING TOUCHES INCLUDING DOG BLANKETS, BOWLS, LEADS, A TORCH FOR LATE NIGHT AND EARLY MORNING WALKS.

Your canine companion is most welcome here at Percy’s – in fact we think this is the perfect place to bring your dog to enjoy some of the splendid walks we have on our Estate. There are several hoses to wash your dog should they return from a walk with wet, muddy paws. We do have a basket of dog towels: Please use as many as you like and leave them on the floor (they go in a separate laundry to your towels!)

We respectfully request that dogs do not come into the main house, and that younger dogs are housed within their own cages when staying in the rooms. This allows them to settle more easily and prevents playful accidents.

If there is anything else we can help you with, i.e. an extra lead, water bowls etc. please do ask.

You may meet Sophie (our working white and black collie) and the two black labs Hughie & Annie.
