Following a satisfying nights sleep and a dining experience to remember, you awake to a spectacular dawn chorus. There is a great deal to explore on the Coombeshead Estate - if you enjoy wildlife, birds, bees, butterflies and more they you won't be disappointed. Our resident beavers have transformed the landscape over a number of years - they are nature's very own water engineers and have built lagoons in the lower valley, which have attracted other wildlife such as kingfishers, herons, pole cats and more. If you are adventurous enough to tip toe down the lakes in the valley at dawn or dusk you may well catch a glimpse of the beavers building a dam, playing together, grazing or swimming. The dawn chorus is simply not to be missed. The best months of the year to experience the wonderful bird chatter are March, April and May.
